The marine mid-note really comes through without turning soapy, which is a hard balance to pull off. Lit it in my bathroom and for a solid hour I could swear I smelled hot sand instead of tile grout. Already ordered a second one.
Bought this for my beach-themed guest bath and the bergamot hits right away, then it settles into something warmer like driftwood. Burned it for three hours and the scent stayed strong without getting overpowering.
The plumeria and marine notes really do transport you—I closed my eyes and could almost hear the tide coming in. Burn time has been solid so far, and the sandalwood base keeps it from getting too sweet.
